The T-1000 is a fictional character from the Terminator franchise, primarily known for his appearance in the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). He is an advanced prototype Terminator, a sentient robot assassin sent back in time from a dystopian future controlled by the artificial intelligence Skynet.
Unlike the original Terminator (T-800), the T-1000 is composed of liquid metal, a mimetic polyalloy, allowing him to shapeshift and mimic the appearance of virtually any human or object of similar size.
